DRK311 gas permeability tester, also known as gas transmittance tester or breathability meter, is an instrument used to detect the permeability of gases (such as oxygen, ammonia, carbon dioxide, etc.) in materials.
Gas permeability tester is mainly based on the principle of differential pressure test. When testing, the pre-treated sample is placed between the upper and lower test chambers and clamped. First, the low-pressure chamber (lower chamber) is vacuumed, and then the entire system is vacuumed. When the specified vacuum degree is reached, the lower chamber of the test is closed, and a certain pressure of the test gas is filled into the high pressure chamber (upper chamber), and a constant pressure difference (adjustable) is ensured on both sides of the sample. In this way, the gas will permeate from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side under the action of the pressure difference gradient. By monitoring the internal pressure of the low pressure side, the barrier parameters of the tested samples can be obtained.
