Sealing instrument is a kind of use of compressed air through the vacuum original group of negative pressure to detect and test the heat sealing performance of plastic flexible packaging materials and processing technology. This instrument provides an advanced, practical and effective test method for the quality and reliability of the plastic sealing package. It is simple to operate, unique and novel shape design of the instrument, and easy to observe the experimental results, especially to quickly and effectively detect the leakage of the small hole of the sealing.
Operation of sealing instrument:
1. Turn on the power switch. Water is injected into the vacuum chamber and the height is higher than the bottom pressing plate surface on the cylinder head. To ensure the sealing effect, sprinkle a little water on the sealing ring.
2. Close the sealing cover of the vacuum chamber and adjust the pressure to the stable value required by the test on the vacuum pressure gauge. Set the test time on the control instrument.
3. Open the sealing cover of the vacuum chamber to immerse the sample in water, and the distance between the top surface of the sample and the water surface shall not be less than 25㎜.
Note: two or more patterns may be tested at a time as long as leaks are observed at various parts of the sample during the test.
4. Close the sealing cover of the vacuum chamber and press the test button.
Note: The adjusted vacuum value is determined according to the characteristics of the sample (such as the packaging materials used, sealing conditions, etc.) or the relevant product standards.
5. The leakage of the sample during the vacuoning process and the vacuum retention period after reaching the preset vacuum degree depends on whether there is continuous bubble generation. A single isolated bubble is generally not considered a sample leak.
6. Press the back blow key to eliminate vacuum, open the seal cover, take out the test sample, wipe the water on its surface, and observe the damage result on the surface of the bag.
