    DRK-XNR400B Melt Flow Index is an instrument used to measure the Melt Mass-Flow Rate (MFR, unit: g/10min) of thermoplastic plastics. It is widely applied in the determination of the melt index values of thermoplastic plastics.

     

    This product meets the requirements of ISO 1133-1:2011 and GB/T 3682-2000 standards.

    Working Principle

    The DRK-XNR400B Melt Flow Index is an instrument that measures the flow properties of thermoplastic polymers at high temperatures according to the test methods specified in GB/T3682 – 2000. It is used to measure the melt flow rate of polymers such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyoxymethylene, ABS resin, polycarbonate, nylon, and fluoroplastics at high temperatures. It is suitable for production and research in factories, enterprises, and scientific research institutions.

    Instrument Features

    • It has both manual and automatic cutting functions.
    • The cutting blade is made of spring steel and is in the form of a straight blade. While ensuring the cutting effect, it increases the reliability of the cutting blade, avoiding the need to adjust the position of the cutting blade during frequent tests. Moreover, the situation where the cutting blade gets stuck and damages the motor will never occur.
    • The MFR measurement range is 0.1 – 50.0 g/10min.
    • The cut-off mass can be entered on the printing interface, and the melt index can be calculated automatically.
    • The mass of the weights can be entered on the printing interface, ensuring the integrity of test data for future experiments.
    • It is equipped with a thermal printer, which can directly output experimental data.
    • The maximum cutting interval can reach 999 seconds.
    • System main interface: It features a Chinese liquid crystal display and keyboard input. The concise and clear parameter settings save the experimenter’s time and effort.
    • High precision and high stability: To ensure the long – term stability of the instrument, its technical core and key components are sourced globally from renowned companies in the United States, Japan, etc. The advanced phase – modulated temperature control method and ∑ – Δ conversion technology can achieve a 16 – bit AD chip with no code loss performance, ensuring the high precision and high stability of the instrument.
    • Human – friendly interface design: The parameter setting interface, temperature control interface, test interface, temperature calibration interface, and printing interface all use Chinese displays. They are intuitive and clear, allowing you to have a comprehensive view of the concerned content.
