Scope of application
This instrument is suitable for the determination of the maximum pore size and average pore size of filter paper.
This instrument adopts the test method of bubbling method. The principle is based on the principle of capillary action. As long as the measured air is forced to pass through the pores of the tested material wetted by a liquid, the air will be driven out of the liquid in the largest pore tube in the test piece. , the pressure required when the first bubble emerges from the pores, and the maximum and average pore diameters of the test piece can be calculated by using the capillary equation using the known surface tension of the liquid at the measured temperature.
