DRK-SZQ-2 Applicator (Four-sided Applicator)

I. Purpose

For different coatings and different testing items, it is necessary to prepare coatings with different thicknesses. Moreover, the consistency of the coatings on the same test piece or a group of test pieces is a prerequisite for various testing tasks. Therefore, by using a high-precision applicator, coatings with different thicknesses can be prepared, and human errors can be minimized, enabling testing items to be carried out under the same conditions.

The four-sided applicator is designed and manufactured by referring to the most popular international technologies and combining with the actual situation in China. It is characterized by high film-making precision, small size, multi-purpose blade, and is applicable to preparing the required films on steel plates, plastics, and wooden boards. It can be used for water-based, acidic, and alkaline products.

II. Working Principle and Technical Parameters

The thickness of the film made by the applicator is determined by the depth value of the groove. A set of four-sided applicators consists of eight groups, and each set can be used to make four specifications of coatings, namely:
